Bayern have not place Gotze in transfer market

The versatile attacker has been linked with a summer transfer, but the Bavarians have no intentions of selling the 2014 World Cup winner

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that the Bundesliga champions are not trying to sell Mario Gotze this summer, following reports linking him to Juventus.
The Germany international has been struggling to live up to the high expectations at Bayern since joining them from Borussia Dortmund in 2013 and it has been suggested a summer exit could be on the cards.
Nevertheless, Bayern have now made it clear that the 23-year-old is going nowhere as they remain confident he will eventually seize his chance at the Allianz Arena.
"We have not put any players in the shopping window. That also goes for Mario Gotze," Rummenigge told Kicker.
"Every player deserves a second chance. Mario will get another chance as well and he has our full support."
Gotze has a contract with Bayern until June 2017.
He has scored 30 goals in 93 appearances for the Bavarians, winning two Bundesliga titles, one DFB Pokal, the Club World Cup and the European Supercup during his time with FCB.
