The midfielder struggled to make an impression in the Liverpool first team after arriving for £20 million from Benfica last summer, and will spend the season in Turkey
Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Lazar Markovic from Liverpool on a season-long loan deal.
Markovic arrived from Benfica in a £20 million move last July, but struggled to nail down a regular place in Brendan Rodgers's side with just 11 Premier League starts under his belt.
Rodgers insisted on Friday that Serbian has a future with Liverpool but will be allowed to continue his development in Turkey for the entire 2015-16 season.

Markovic joins a host of high-profile signings that have joined Fenerbahce in the current transfer window, with Robin van Persie and Nani moving from Manchester United.
