Guardiola, Wenger, Mourinho all on PSG coach Wishlist.

Laurent Blanc's future remains up in the air although that he is unlikely to be sacked unless one of the Ligue 1 club's prime candidates is available
Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Arsene Wenger feature on PSG's shortlist of potential replacements for Laurent Blanc, but the Frenchman's job is not in immediate danger

Reports in France have suggested that Blanc would be sacked from his position if PSG fail to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, with the club currently second in Group A.

However, Goal understands that the former Manchester United defender's future will likely depend on the availability of three of world football's finest coaches, meaning Blanc could well be safe even if he fails to reach his targets.

Mourinho, under pressure at Chelsea after an abysmal start to the season, is a prime contender to take the job, having held discussions with PSG two years before Blanc's appointment.

The Portuguese has publicly insisted that he will not walk away from Chelsea despite their poor start to the 2015-16 campaign, although speculation over his future will only increase unless results drastically improve.

Wenger, meanwhile, has rejected the advances of Nasser Al-Khelaifi and PSG on three previous occasions, in 2012, 2013 and 2015 and has thus far decided to stay put at the Emirates Stadium with Arsenal.

Bayern boss Guardiola would appear a realistic target, with the Spaniard yet to have committed to a new contract with the Bavarians, with his current deal due to expire in 2016.

Guardiola has long been coveted by Manchester City and, with the Premier League club remainining keen admirers, they would undoubtedly rival PSG should the former Barcelona boss announce his desire to leave Germany.

Goal understands that Guardiola will not make any decision over his future before the end of the calendar year, with some of Europe's heavyweight clubs lining up to lure him to their respective leagues.
