I need more playing time to rediscover my form-Ibrahimovic

The Swede got off the mark for the campaign against Guingamp and has promised more in the coming weeks once he is up to speed

Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he will need to play more regularly if he is to rediscover his best form.

The Sweden international forward, 33, has received rare criticism following a sluggish start to the season for the French champions.
Troubled by injury, Ibrahimovic has missed four Ligue 1 games already, but after some indifferent displays got his first goal of the campaign in the 3-0 win over Guingamp on Tuesday.

"The most important thing is that my game’s coming back little by little," Ibrahimovic, who also saw a penalty saved by Jonas Lossl, told reporters. "I need to play matches to get back to my best level.

"I scored and the team won, so I’m happy. I felt good. We must continue like this and become even stronger."

Ibrahimovic was outscored by team-mate Edinson Cavani last term in domestic football, and already trails the Uruguay international forward by four goals this term following his early-season struggles.

PSG travel to Nantes on Saturday before they make a midweek trip to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
